State of the City & Employee Recognition 2024 Event
The City of West Covina was delighted to announce its annual State of the City event that took place in September. We invited you to join us in celebrating our community's diversity and unity. Attendees networked with city dignitaries, staff, community stakeholders, and local businesses while enjoying hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and dinner. Mayor Brian Calderón Tabatabai commemorated our city's milestone, highlighted the achievements of the past year, and unveiled future plans.

In celebration of the City's 100th birthday, a special Centennial Video was presented to showcase the city, it's history, and what makes it the Jewel of the San Gabriel Valley.

2020 State of the City
As the City was not able to host a State of the City in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City has developed the 2020 Edition West Covina State of the City book. The 2020 State of the City highlights the City achievements in 2020.
